i got my wisdom teeth taken out on friday....not as bad as i expected, although i do look like a chipmunk. the vicodin is keeping me pain free, thank god, and i have basically just been sleeping, playing with the outside kitten (karch) and eating won ton soup.
thats the worst part, not being able to eat anything!! i have been living off of soup and mashed potatoes....i want a sandwich!!!! scott brought me jamba juice and sat and watched project runway with my mom, me and emily :)
hopefully i am not swollen for school tomorrow!
oh and i desperatly want a cigarette :(
but i will have to wait for friday which seems like forevverrrr |

There's an artist, Nathalia Edenmont, who kills cats, mice, doves, rabbits, and other animals, mutilates their bodies, and then takes their photographs. She's on exhibit, among other places, at the Wetterling Gallery in Sweden. She has taken the top halves of five white mice and made them into finger puppets. She beat a cat to death with a stick. And this is called art. This is not only inhumane, but morally reprehensible.

hey guys long weekend so long entry!!
o and forget about what i said yesterday it was all a big misunderstanding.
ok so on saturday. shanti and i had our first job. her mom's boyfriend's friend was asked to serve at this big party and shanti's moms bf (avneesh) asked if we want to help. we said sure! so we did. it was all the way up in fairfield. we got there at 2 PM. we had to wear all black. it was in this big wherehouse with like 2 million roses and 50 huge tables, and 4 bars, a long ass red carpet, 40 ft curtains, all these lights, a band, a huge stage,
ice sculptures, and not one but 2 CHOCOLATE FOUNTAINS!!! i mean it was the coolest fucking party ever. it must have cost like 6 million dollars! so shanti and i's first job was to sugar the rims and pour a drop of grenadine in 400 champagne flutes...that took like 2 hours. then we had to help set the tables. like 50 tables with 8 seats at each. each setting had 3 forks, a spoon, knife, 2 glasses, butter/bread dish, butter knife, and a napkin. it took forever too. then we had to clear the floor.then the party started. the band played cool songs. they played the classics like : we are family, celebrate, superfreak. but they also played: toxic, smooth (santana),get the party started and naughty girl. shanti, this gay server michael, and i danced to naughty girl. it was hularious. there we were freak dancing while we should have been working. im surprised we didnt get caught.we served food and refilled water. i was so damn hungry. i didnt eat since like 9:00 AM and it was 7 PM. so the party planners let us eat the leftover food. there was duck, shrimp, lobster macaronni, and caramel pie for dessert.it was so damn good!! we just went to the bar for drinks. shanti even got some alcohol.the actual party lasted til like 12:00. then we cleaned up. we stayed tile 1:30. so like 11 1/2 hours of standing on my feet. i probably sat for a total of 15 mins the whole day. my feet were killing me so bad!!!! they still hurt. my back too. im not used to all that standing! but i got paid $$230.00 so its all good. i loved the other servers there. they were hularious. like michael. he was so funny. he knew all the words to toxic and he was singing along as he was serving water. and this asian guy joey, he tried to mop the floor with this metal thing attached to a pole. it was supposed to have a mop on it but it wasnt attached. it was hularious! we were all so tired and dead. i had major fun though!
on another NOTE...
yesterday my mom got court papers...she is getting sued. she hit a motorcyclist in june. he only broke his wrist. it was because of her blindspot. she even looked over her shoulder and didnt see him. grr he is suing for 25,000. this year is sucking ass. 2 major deaths and my mom is getting sued. come on jesus...help a girl out! |
